Return and Refund Policy

At Makoto Swords, owned and operated by HANDMADE ARTWORKS INC, we take pride in the craftsmanship of our handmade products. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your order, we are here to assist you with returns and refunds.

1. Return Eligibility

You may return your item(s) within 20 days of delivery if you are not satisfied, or if the item is damaged or incorrect. We will process your return request within 48 hours. The refund will be returned to the bank account through the original payment method within 7-15 days after approval.

Return conditions:

  • Items must be new, unused, and in original condition and packaging.

  • Custom-made items and clearance sale items are non-returnable and non-refundable.

2. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, please contact our customer support team within 24 to 48 hours of delivery with photo and/or video proof. All claims must be made within 20 days of delivery.

3. Refund Method

Refunds will be issued to your original payment method once the returned item is received and inspected.

  • Return shipping fees will be deducted from the refund, unless:

    • The product was damaged upon arrival

    • You received the incorrect product

  • We do not charge any restocking fees.

4. Return Process

  1. Complete the return form with the item number and quantity you are returning.

  2. If exchanging, include the item number for the replacement.

  3. Carefully repackage the item in the original presentation packaging, including all manuals, warranties, and accessories.

Note: Failure to follow return instructions may delay refund processing.

  • Allow 15 business days from the date your package is received by our warehouse for processing.

  • We can only issue refunds to the original method of payment.

  • We cannot refund items not received by our warehouse.

5. PayPal Disputes

If you open a PayPal dispute without first contacting our customer support, your return and refund eligibility will be void.

6. Governing Law

This Return and Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the United States of America.

By purchasing from our store, you agree to comply with our Return and Refund Policy. We reserve the right to amend this policy at any time. Updates will be posted on our website with the new effective date.
